Did I have to leave a tip since it was included in the bill?

An 18.percent tip was added to my olive garden meal and we got the 2 for 25 which is the 2 for 38 in manhattan for whatever reason. The bill came out to 44 and I left 45. Should I have tipped more if they added a tip in the bill?

If gratuity is included, then no, you don’t need to tip. I, personally, usually tip anyway if the gratuity is less than 15% of the total bill. Gratuity is generally added as a courtesy to you, so you don’t have to worry about leaving cash or adding money to a credit card transaction. It’s also added as a courtesy to the wait staff, so that if someone’s bill is high, they don’t walk out without tipping.
